Meals Served:
Breakfast, lunch and mid-afternoon snacks

Food:
well-balanced meals with all food groups represented

Monthly menu:
Posted in classrooms and available at the front desk

Time served:
Posted in individual room daily schedule— generally between 10:45-11:15

Family style dining:
Teachers model how to serve oneself and eat at table with children

Infants:
Parents may choose from a milk or soy based formula from the CCFP approved list OR by completing the Infant Feeding Form parents may bring own infant meals

Outside food may ONLY be brought in for:
  •   Birthday/holiday parties and must be store purchased in original packaging
  •   Infants whose parents supply food
  •   When medical documentation has been presented that supports the requirement of     
      specialized food for a child which the CDC is unable to provide

*Children are encouraged to eat all parts of their meals, but caregivers do not force children     
  to eat anything. *
