The
webpage for each is managed by the Regional MWR webmaster
and
information is updated as the managers submit it.
Updates
are made on the hour and pages may need to be refreshed
to view the changes
if you've visited that page recently.
If you
are relatively new to internet navigation, here are a few hints:
The back and forward arrows at
the left top of your browser
window will help you return to pages you've visited.
Some active elements cannot be viewed unless you click on
"allow
script & active x" . For instance pop up
menus on the main page require the
blockers
to be turned off to view the sub listings under leisure and special
events.
Active java script gives you a shield icon if it is
being blocked on your computer.
Links to other information or
pages are usually underlined.
Graphics can also be links. If you move your cursor
over a linked graphic, the arrow turns into a hand.
If a page isn't viewable, try hitting
refresh under "view" at
the top of your browser window. This will also update
changes that have been made since you last visited if your
computer has made a "cookie" (recorded the page).
If you visit a page or site frequently
you can "bookmark" the page
by adding it to your "favorites" - again found at the
top of the
browser window. Sites then have shortcuts that you can click
on in the favorites column to go directly to the site.
While we do attempt to keep our
page designs in formats Netscape users
can see, Netscape browsers have more problems
viewing pages as they
are designed. On occassions backgrounds do not show up in table
cells.
If you have "view in large print" marked on you computer, layouts
will be seen
differently than they are designed.
Please make the webmaster aware of unviewable text.
Netscape 4.4 users who use Quicktime
may also find embedded audio
files overtaking the page in the default setting. Parameters can
be reset
to avoid this with most browsers, however, our audio files have
been removed or
embedded in a different manner, where Quicktime users may not hear
them.
If a page is obliterated by the Quicktime media player, please notify
the webmaster.
